We are delighted to announce the release of the next episode of the The Whole Story: Belonging
This podcast shares wisdom and insights on a range of topics to help people working in Primary Care expand their thinking, be happier at work, and deliver great care.
Our guests for this episode are Dr Kieran Dinwoodie and Margaret Webb. Kieran is a GP Partner and Trainer in Lanarkshire and a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Margaret is a Psychotherapist, using the lens of Transactional Analysis in her work.
In this episode Kieran, Margaret and Elaine consider the impact of belonging on the individual and the team, discussing:
- What do we mean when we use the term “belonging”? What does it feel like to belong?
- Where are we in belonging? How ready are we to belong?
- How open are others to us belonging?
- What are the people barriers and organisational barriers to belonging?
- What does it feel like or look like to “not belong”?
- What can we do when nothing is being done to address a lack of belonging in the workplace?
- Are there any strategies to aid belonging?
